Its 0.9% salt, there is a reason why nacl water is the dilutant of choice is hospitals. Normal water has a lower osmilarity than blood and will cause your red blood cells to swell and sometimes burst. Whilst its obviously not an issue when only using a few iu of it at a time i do think nacl is best. Dave palaumbo is an advocate of nacl too.
