Separating capsules

Gotta a quick question guys, its sorta of a long story so ill just make it short.

If one had 25mg capsules of, lets say anavar, and wanted to split them in 5mg or 10 mgs how would one do it ?
buy a milligram scale and gelatin capsules ?
is it safe?
would it be easy ?
has anyone done it ?

You could try dumping the capsule contents onto a small dinner plate and then adding a small amount of the powder into some apple sauce and eating it
