Reaching natural potential...question

At the gym today I was noticing how anyone that was real big had some big legs. Before my first half cycle I had worked out naturaly for about 3 years and think that I came pretty close to my "natural potential", which by the way is not big, on myupper body. On the other hand I hardly ever worked out my lower body and now I am unproportionate as hell. Anyways, my question is do yall think I should just blast my legs naturally like I did my upper body untill I feel they can't get any bigger then juice again, or go as planned and begin my next cycle in september and focus on them then? I know these toothpicks ae what is holding me back from being as big as I should be. Thanks.

hey

ok i cant tell you what u should do ,only my opinion. i would juice and train legs to catch them up. everyone knows that power comes from the back and the legs. so to speak. weak legs= weak body. now ithink im still kinda small but i can fight guys almost twice my size cuz i have very powerful legs... :D its had to hit someone when they are squatting you on their back.. and in the process of dumpin ya on yer head.:eek2: :eek2:

Im a firm believer that to be huge ya need to work your legs. The reason is because your legs comprise a huge amount of mass and can trigger large releases of hormones.

The question you have to ask yourself is do you have two or three years to spare to bring your legs up to their natural potential. Most BB's agree that the closer you get to your potential naturally or otherwise the slower the progress becomes and the harder it is to keep your gains so following that principal hopefully your legs will progress slightly faster than your upper body if you have the will to do what will be necessary because the reason why most people avoid doing legs in the first place is the sheer intensity it takes to train them properly and as the other replies say it will have plenty of beneficial knock on effects if you do.

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD GAINING BRO!!!
:fro:

You could juice and then workout your legs, or you could just quit fucking around and do some heavy Squats & Deadlifts.

Like someone already mentioned; nothing causes as big a release of testosterone & gh like heavy weight squats.

Make sure and bring your bucket to put next to the squat rack. That way you don't have to run to the bathroom to vomit. :)

Legs are the one body part that kicks my ass! and I mean kicks my ass!

When I'm finished with my leg work out, I could curl up and sleep write there at the squat rack. Out like a light!

If you look at your self in the mirror pre work out and then after you can literally see that your body has shrunk with the exception of the legs, which grew in the amount your upper body shrunk.

:D

Last year, I used to be in the same predicament you're in now. I was one of those "leg press is as good as squating" guys. And my leg workout intensity sucked.

Anyways, when I started squatting, my leg strength started jumping my leaps and bounds. I went from stuggling with 185lbs to 295lbs with proficency in about 4 months with no juice. Your legs are hungry to grow, so let them!

I've converted several "upper body only" natural bodybuilders to leg training (and I mean the real stuff, like full squats and DLs) and each time they suddenly gained alot of size all over. While I am not a big fan of T-mag now, they did have a good leg training program by Ian King. This program describes exactly how you do stuff, and has pics too. I'd do this program and then hit the juice.

BTW I sometimes have trouble really blasting legs when I am on, since the pump in my low back and hamstrings really gets in the way. I compensate for this by focussing primarily on legs when I am training clean.
