yes all steroids will increase glycogen retention. Glycogen is a way for body to store energy in the muscle and the liver. When you exercise and your blood glucose levels start to fall the body will conver the glycogen into glucose so that you can keep going.

Every molecule of glycogen is attached to 3 molecules of water inside the muscle, so by increasing clycogen you will increase muscle size from the extra water being pulled in.
