Primo and winny.... with test? or with out test?

I just got off a cycle of Test Prop Winny, Primo, and Anavar, This was my First cycle I like what it did except for the acne on the back of my neck and my arms got a little much towards the end but over all Im pretty please I just want to know if i really need to take a test base with winny and primo and anavar a buddy of mine said I will actually get better results and wont retain any water and get the acne i had either does any one know about running it with a test base or with out if this is a smart thing to do ?
