please help fina question??

i bought some ip fina from a reseller, when i take it i get red marks that might be infections. i was told to bake it in the oven to kill any germs that might be inside. how long should i bake it for at what tempature?? i have around 10cc's left. also if i bake it wont it melt the rubber stopper on top of the bottle?

I would do it 3X @ 250 for 15 minutes each. Put a pin(needle) in the stopper to let out pressure if is it in a normal vial?

and why 3 times and not just once ?

anyone else can tell me something?

it wont melt, hes is saying 3x because its kind of like the more the better thing.

i have baked my homebrew fina in the oven 3 times and like previously mentioned for about 15minutes each time,,my stopper on the vial was fine....just dont forget about it being in the oven

just boil it on the stove for 15 or 20 min. dont fill the pot all the way with water just enough to cover all the fina. One time should be sufficient
