Ok, How Fat Is Too Fat When Bulking???

I am not competing (yet at least) but just curious. I realize that the more bodyfat I carry in the off season, the harder it will be to burn it off without losing all my muscle gains.

Give me some ideas; 10%?...15%???

Right now I am 6'1", 235, at about 14-15%.
 
Just remember that most is water retention. And most important FAT can NOT be coverted to muscle so don't everkill on the fat. Eat clean and you will grow with minamal fat. It's also easier to shred up with a clean diet year round.
 
Last year I went overboard and got to 14% before dieting.

Needless to say I only dieted for 12 weeks and I wasnt ready for the show.

From now on I don't want to go above 10-12% offseason

Right now I am around 11% so I need to be careful, clean up the diet a little and add in some light cardio.
 
10% is where my comfort level is at, as well. Everyone carries the weight a little differently and I can't stand having a large waistline.
