Needles needles needles

I live in a very small town. Luckily I found out my local pharmacy sells syringes OTC.

The problem is all he has in stock is 25 gauge 1in. I asked him if that's sufficient with an oil based intramuscular injection, and he responded "sure".

Will this gauge work if I heat up the liquid?

Will the 1in reach the muscle?
