Needle Size

I have 21g 1.5 inch needles & 23g 1 1/4 inch needles.

When I inject with the 21g, it feels like I'm harpooning my ass with a steak knife. I would like to use the 23g but was wondering if 1 1/4 inches is not too short to penetrate deep enough into the muscle?

Is the length OK ?

The slower u put the pin in, the more it hurts. Just wack it in and be done with it.
