muscle hardness + inj pain

Has anyone ever notice that the harder your muscles get the more the injection hurts? Just the needle entering seems to hurt more to me. I got ripped and hard this summer and doing injections now seems to really "prick" a bit more???????????????

the needles may not be as sharp as you were using before either. but i'd say the lower fat you have then of course it would hurt more as the nerve endings are no closer to the skin = needle going deeper down than before. where are you injecting.
