I have tried his workouts and I really dont like them. the 1-2 reps just dont do it for me. I never felt like I had a good workout or a good pump after one of his workouts. I like being able to go home and lay in bed at night feeling proud of the workout I had. maybe its just me, but, 1 rep doesnt do that for me. If you read his books and reports everything makes complete sense, its just not for me. Its good to read up on different routines and techniques that have worked for different people at different levels, try them out and figure out what works best for you. Ive read many times that he was highly criticized for not being as cut as his competitors.
