metformin Vs Troglitazone and Carb Up

Q8TY

New member
What is metformin ?

1) Increases insulin sensitivity of liver cells,
2) thus reducing liver cell production of sugar.
Liver cells add sugar to the blood when not adequately stimulated by insulin.

*Not advised to those who drink alcohol heavily, or those with kidney problems

Dosage rang : 1000 - 2550

What is Troglitazone "Rezulin"

1)Increases insulin receptor sensitivity on muscle and adipose (fat) cells

2)Increases insulin uptake from blood into target cells. Makes insulin more effective and less is required.

Dosage rang: i have to do my Rerserach to min and max dosage

so what the best to use During carb up day ?

i'm use Right now :
ALA 1200 with every meal + VS 30 mg + HCA x1 + metformin X 500 for every meal !

what That mean
Increases insulin receptor sensitivity in fat cells ?!

New update to who want to know more about pioglitazone

Oral medications: IV Insulin Sensitizers
Insulin sensitizers include the drugs rosiglitazone (Avandia®) and pioglitazone (ActosTM). These drugs increase the sensitivity of tissues to insulin by stimulating a receptor in the body called the PPAR gamma receptor. Insulin effects the expression of many genes involved in the control of glucose production, transport, and use, and PPAR gamma receptors are involved in many of these actions. The major side effects include weight gain, mild swelling, headache and a slight decrease in blood hemoglobin levels. Blood tests to monitor the effects of the drug on the liver are often conducted, especially during initial therapy.

Weight Gain (as fat): The first step in the action of the glitazones is to bind to a protein in the nucleus, the peroxisomal proliferator-activator receptor gamma (PPARg).[9] Binding triggers the transcription of a set of genes leading eventually to the production of more fat cells.[10] These fat cells increase their uptake of glucose from the blood and convert this glucose into fat. FDA does not list weight gain as an adverse event since it is considered an 'essential' part of the way these drugs work.[11] Patients can expect a weight gain of up to 5% of body weight.
