would low dosages of say 10mg ed have any effect?

By itself, or used with something else? And have an effect on what exactly? Are you looking at this as a possible bridge?

well I'd take it with test. I have some dbols and figured I could go down to 10mg a day to be able to take what I have for about 4 weeks.

It won't hurt, but it will not be extremely advantageous either. Most of my cycles are test and 20 mg/dbol (anymore than that and I start feeling like hell)...
