A little question about steroid history

I've read in the book called the Afactor, (I think itis also available on the EVO main site), and in the history part ofsteroids, it said that the first testosterone was extracted fromurine – how is that even possible? How did they find out it wasactual testosterone, and how did they test its effects? Sounds veryinteresting to me!

Sincerely, I would need to refresh my memory, but if this is what they say in that book, then it gotta me this way. I remember reading it, and it has proven to be a very legit and interesting book, especially in terms of history.

The first testosterone was actually extracted from bovine testicles.

Testosterone is not present in urine. It would be physically impossible to derive testosterone from your urine.
