Lactose free milk gives water retention?!?!

I´ve been using Lactaid Fat Free Lactose Free... As far as I know lactose is the sugar from milk, right? Assuming this, a lactose free milk should not have sugar but in the Lactaid box the nutrition facts say "Sugar 13gr" How come?!?
 
No, they put an enzyme in the milk to pre-digest the lactose - still the same amount of simple carbs just no longer lactose
