Hey, would you mind sharing the details of the PT work? I've helped with 3 rehabs (and my own), but I'm curious about the pre-surgery work. I know they are working to keep ROM, but what else???

**Was told NO hot tub & NO lower body work other than what she does with/to me as we need to get the knee swelling DOWN and anything else could inflame it. *SIGH*

Today she bent & stretched my leg & took measurements to see what amount of flex & straightening I have in it. She got me on a stationary bicycle & I was finally able to complete some full turns. She then massaged my knee to see if any of the swelling would disperse - which it didn't. Finished up with ice.

Was watching the Olympics tonite & saw Lindsey Kildow's fall being shown again.....there's a spot in her fall where her ski hit the slopes like mine ('cept mine twisted) and she then laid on the slope crying.... :worried:

Made me cry.......damn...
 
Jens, are you icing after your pool work? I hate to say this, but you probably need to be, depending on how warm the water is. That swelling must get out of there...
