The most important thing when it comes to injection safety is keeping everything sterile and clean. A dirty injection site can lead to a very serious infection, which could require surgery or even amputation of the limb.

By a.s. do you mean aspirate?

The purpose behind aspirating is to check to see if you have injected into a vein.

Aspirating involves nothing more then slowly pulling back the plunger on the syringe prior to your injection. You should see a few air bubbles withdraw into the syringe. If you have blood coming into the syringe, you have hit a vein. YOU will need to withdraw the needle immediately and start the whole process over again with a new injection site.

a standard size is 3CC 25G 1 inch.

use a 18G to draw.

inject oil deep into the muscle, avoid veins.. if it feels funny then pull out immediately. I am not an advocate of aspirating at all, in fact I am against the practice.

Against aspirating??? May i ask why?
