Im now out of my compression vest...

I had gyno surgery 6 weeks ago and this is the first week without my vest and my question is, now that my vest is gone ive noticed both sides coming out a little, my doc said over the next 6 months that they would slowly heal and that the feeling would come back and when he was saying that he mentioned something like they could do something like this during this process, so im wondering is this normal just after the vest is gone because when I had it on I would take it off to shower and I was happy with the results but now theres a difference. Any input would be greatly appreciated I dont go back for another follow up until the mid of january, so I would like to have some info now if possible. Thanks and K for some good input.
