get checked using the BODPOD seems to be more accurate if the person checking it measures your lung air volume precisely

don't know.. if i recall it costs about $40k or so.. the plus is that it doesn't take up space like a pool you need with hydrostatic weighing and it's supposed to be more accurate. some nutritionists and private clinics purchased these units http://www.bodpod.com/
beware that a careless tester will make it useless.
