How do "cutting" coumponds differ from Test?

I understand the effects of anavar, primo, and winstrol. They all serve to prevent muscle breakdown while cutting.
Isn't this what Test does on it's own? How does it add to the benefit of Test when Test alone speeds up metabolism and protects muscle breakdown while in a deficit?

You do not need to include a testosterone base in a cutting cycle.

In fact, you DONT want to use anything that aromatizes right before a bodybuilding show, photo shoot etc because it'll cause water retention and blur definition.

who made that stupid rule you have to run steroids with test?

the bottom line is steroids aren't cutters and here is why. if you ran winny for example you would dry out, but what is the point of drying out when your muscles are covered with fat? there is no point. this is why it is dumb for anyone with more than 10% body fat to use a 'cutting' steroid and expect to look 'ripped' after

People like to nit pick and analyze this shit to death. Bottom line is that steroids do not burn fat, they help build muscle. Guys like to run certain steroids (dry compounds) when trying to cut fat for 2 reasons......first is to prevent muscle loss, and second is they don't aromatize. What is the point of cutting fat if you run wet steroids and look like a bloated fish? You wont be able to see the progress you are making.
