To Heat Or Not To Heat Converting Fina!!!!

Ok, I have converted fina once and followed the instructions at gotfina.com, anyway my filter clogged and I lost some of the fina. After further research I found out that a coffee filter should be used after the oil and tren is mixed to hold the gunk at the bottom. I have also since read through animals and mr. T's instructions to use little or no heat at all in the process. WHAT IS YOUR OPINION OF THE BEST METHOD OF CONVERTING FINA????????!!!!! Will heat really mess the fina up and is baking to sterilize it necessary???
