Has TRT change your life?

Anyone recently been put on TRT and have noticed a huge change in your life for the better?

What dosage were you given?

Did you Dr prescribe you anything else with the Test? What brand of Test do you get?

I started off with 200mg every 2 weeks but was recently changed to every 10 days same dose. I'd like to get it to 200mgs every week.

I get the Paddock Labs in the 1ML or Watson in the 10ML. I was thinking of asking for the Pfizer but its expensive and not sure if it really matters between that and the other brands. I get the rest for free through insurance.

I wanted to talk to my Dr about getting HCG. Anyone else get this with their TRT?

I've noticed a huge difference in quality of life, energy, confidence, etc. I'm very happy I took this direction by going on TRT.

Lets hear your stories!

I noticed same kind of positive changes when I began my TRT three years ago. It really changed the quality of my life a lot, I got my energy back and started taking interest in things in general again. Before TRT I felt unbelievably lethargic all the time and had zero interest to do anything at all. I started hitting the gym again and managed to lose 35 KGs of fat:eek::sly: (yeap, I was pretty damn obese some years back:rolleyes:), and have kept my weight/diet in check since. So all in all the TRT was a real life saver for me in every aspect. :)

Why I had such a low test values is a bit of a mystery to begin with. I was 27 yo when I went to TRT, and I had never touched any AAS. I did my my first cycle/blast when I had already been in TRT for a while. The most likely reason for suppressing my natural T-levels to very low level (almost nonexistent in some of my labs) is the use (and unfortunately abuse) of various RX-drugs, mainly opiates/opioids and other pain killers. I know this is subject of debate here, or at least has been bc I have red numerous posts claiming that opiates don't suppress test levels. Yeat, that is the only reason my endocrinologist came up with, and it seemed to be known and studied fact from what she told me. So my opinion on the matter is quite clear, and everyone is free to choose their own, I'm not interested arguing about it.

Back to main subject a bit, I have been using Testogel for my TRT since the beginning. In the beginning it worked well and I had my T-levels where I wanted them, but it seems like it has somehow lost part of its effectiveness over the years. Last time I got labs done to check my levels and indeed there is a very big drop in my test levels in approx one years time.
I am currently in process of switching from Testogel to injections, as soon as I can get an appointment to my endo (she's a head of the endocrinology unit, so it takes some time to get an appointment, but she really knows what she's doing, so it's worth the wait). Problem with TRT injections here is that choices ain't that great, to my knowledge only options are Sustanon or Undecoate, and I will probably have to go see a nurse each time to get my shot ( least at first). Also the thing I like about Testogel is that I can adjust my dose so easily. My plan is to try to convince my endo to arrange my TRT in such way that I will get script/shots to/of Sustanon and will also get to keep my Testogel script, so I can adjust the dose with it.;):D
I will also try to get some HCG and a Adex/Aromasin script while I'm at it. Hopefully that will work out, at least I have a lot of experience with convincing doc's to give me the script I want, from my days as a addict...:(:(:(

Most of us dont even notice the changes ages brings on because they happen so slow but once on a good TRT regimen thats when you realize just how bad things were. Mood, mental acuity, libido, muscle mass, fat loss, motivation, concentration etc.

By all means get HCG with your TRT, that there may be what's lacking in my regimen! Started with Watson now Pfizer.
I started in Nov., 2009 at 200mg.E2W, then 300mg E2W. I plan to discontinue TRT because I've reached a point that it no longer works for me. Good moods and good times have dwindled over time and it's time to put away the syringe for a while. I'm at 1,000mg a month and I'm taking anti-depressants and checked into VA clinic to see a psychiatrist. Maybe it's time to stop for a year or two and then get back on. I need an oracle or a genie.
I'll come to some conclusion or plan shortly.

I was using Androgel and got nada. Tried splitting the dose..nada. Finally 1 pump every 4 hours, and its better. This is from a GP and the gel is as far as he'll go, sucks.

I am 70 years young in August. Started HRT about 10 years ago with the help of a Longevity Dr associated with a major hospital. Anything I took was with a prescription and legal. 70-100 mg a week of compound creme or gel Test, 0.5 mg adex twice per week, and 1 iu of HGH every even calendar day. This coupled with traditional exercises and clean food and 8-9 hours sleep each day.

Every aspect of my life improved as my blood testing results moved into proper range. I am aging ... you can't stop it. But I am fit and vital.

And for fun, I do cycles 2-3 times a year. Simply double everything and mix it up, E-Book style.

Here are some laughable findings:
- When you are 6' 235 of muscle and ooooooold, young men call you Sir and open the door out of respect.
- Old school knowledge is very valuable.
- And you find young women have daddy and grand daddy issues that make you a huge temptation/realization.

I'm going to call you a "YOUNG LION"! So basically it's how you feel about one's self. Thanks LION!

I have been on TRT for about 5 months now. Have noticed a huge improvement overall. My question is: I guess over time the returns and feelings will subside and build a tolerance to it. Is there any way to prevent this?

For those that have been on TRT for years. How much has your dose and frequency of it has it changed since you began? Mine started at 200mg EOW and then went to 200mg every 10 days.

Is there ever a point where one Is taking 300+mgs every week prescribed? Is it usually between 100-200 a week?
