Hair Growth and AAS

Is there a noticeable effect of the growth rate or +/- of hair whether it be beard hair, scalp hair, or body hair when using AAS? I saw a while back that a bro said his scalp hair grew 2-3 times faster than it did normally when he was on a cycle, which I found to be almost unreal, while some other guys I've talked to personally said they didn't notice any difference. I know it probably varies from drug to drug but any experiences? For example, guys that wax or anything, if you are on cycle do you have to go back to wax much sooner when on AAS than off? Do you get more stubble on your face quicker when on a cycle than off?
