Expired HGH?

My friends younger brother was on HGH for 2 years as prescribed by an endocrinologist. It helped him grow 11 inches over those two years, so now he is at a 'normal' height and no longer needs it. He does have quite a bit left over, and his brother, who honestly could probably use it as well as they both have hormone deficiencies, was wondering if it is dangerous to use expired HGH.

I don't think it is dangerous as long as he doesn't abuse it, it might lose potency, how long is it expired...

Not sure, I'll ask him today and find out. I'm gathering a bunch of information for him to read about first if he decides to go through with it though. I also recommended that he join this site.
