Effects of Insulin Supplementation on Insulin sensitivity

This is a question for insulin experts:

Does the periodic supplementation of insulin affect long-term insulin sensistivity? If so, is insulin sensitivity increased or decreased? For how long?

I am 205lb, 6'1. I use 10IUs of insulin once a day on training days (four times/week) for 4-6 week cycles twice a year. I am not sure whether these stats are relevant for answering my question.

thanks in advance,
L

This is my final attempt to elicit a response. If anyone has any opinion about this issue or can recommend a site that might be informative, I'd be grateful for your input.

thanks,

yes.. use of insulin.. will decrease insulin sensitivity.. though unless you have gotten fat from it.. the effects should be short term.. perhaps not even noticable..

it will also probably decrease insulin secretion, though that should return to normal quickly as well..

Just a note from a long time and term user. AAS use over prolonged periods can reduce your insulin sensativity. I have personally felt better and seen better weight gain results during periods of insulin supplimentation
