difference between test suspension and oil based test for powerlifting

Ive heard that test suspension is better than oil based test for powerlifting. Is this true? If so, is there a big difference and what are the differences? Thanks, Bam

they are different in the aspect of the time that it takes to release the active hormone (testosterone) and the vehicle in which the test is carried (oil v. water). that being said, test suspension works almost immediately and has a half-life of about 8 hrs. it has a real kick to it and can be good to take right before a meet, or even in a cycle, the only drawback is daily or 2x daily injects. most oil based test is esterfied (some ug labs produce test suspension in oil), meaning that it takes a longer time to release, and the release time is based on the ester of the testosterone being used: half lifes range from 2 days (acetate) to 24 days (laurate). all test is chemically the same regardless of the ester, so one type of test is not necessarily better than another. what YOU personally use should be tapered to your goals

Yup....test is test. The only difference is the length of the ester. It is also important to remember that 100mg of a testosterone ester is not equivalent to 100mg testosterone of pure testosterone (as in suspension). When an ester is present, its weight is obviously included in the preparation's milligram total. Looking at the oil based esters, 100mg of this compound equates to only 72mg of raw testosterone. So the powerlifter who uses 400mg of enanthate or cypianate weekly is really getting about 288mg of testosterone into his body each week. With Suspension...this amount is a pure 400mg.

Suspension is ideal for powerlifters because the strength and mass gains appear almost instantly. The only problem is that the gains are very difficult to keep. Easy come; easy go!

Good luck!
