Ive made fina before but this never happened last time.
I was dissolving the pellets in the magic solution. about 45min had passed and the pellets hadnt completely dissolved so I put it in a hot water bath on the stove on and off for just a few mins. Right at the end there was a very dark amber colored layer that formed at the top of the solution. I thought that the glue was starting to oxidize so I immediately poured the sterile oil into the solution and shook it up until the solution became uniform throughout. It didnt take long, maybe a few minutes for the binders and glue ( i assume) to settle to the bottom. there is about a quater inch of crap at the bottom, using a 2g kit. However there is crap, glue I guess, stuck to the side of the bottle.
I going to let it sit for a little while, maybe until tomorrow until I filter the solution into the sterile bottle.
do you guys think this batch is ok, or did I screw it up?
