Body Composition DEXA results

People often struggle to guess BF percentages, and those callipers are simply not as good as the eye - if you have something to compare it to. I had these pics taken just before i had a full body DEXA scan (the ONLY way of estimating real body composition - ie. the only method which is not an estiomation) - its the gold standard of body composition:

Here are two pics:

Here are the Dexa results:

Region Fat(g) muscle mas (g) %Fat
L Arm 622 5835 9.3
R Arm 429 5823 6.6
Trunk 3151 41801 6.8
L Leg 1504 15060 8.7
R Leg 1419 15179 8.2
Subtotal 7128 83698 7.6

wow look good bro. would be interesting to use the callipers and see what BF percentage you come up with. It would give us the error rate when using callipers. My guess error rate is somewhere between 10-20% with callipers.
They also have electronic ones, not sure what the error rate on those would be.
How much the scan run ya ?

I managed to get it free through a connection at a research centre.

Callipers were not too bad, callipers estimated 9%
Electronic methods were WAY off -
Near Infrared Reductance method estimated 15%
Bioelectrical impedence estimated 13.5%

These estimates get throen off by my BMI.

I never mentioned my Height is 183cm and weight 102kg's

after I thought about it, Calliper error rate would only be around 5% or so.
Not surprised about electronic methods being way off.
