Avoiding flu

[FONT=&quot]Im sure many of members here have had the pleasure of catching this years flu. Im just finally going back to the gym today after a week off. Anyone got any recovery tips? Any ways to lessen the impacts?[/FONT]

rest and stay hydrated... dont push it too quickly... after you think you feel better you should wait a few more days after that... its a lot worse to miss extended periods of time because your never let yourself recover as opposed to taking just a few days more to rest... take advantage of the rest time and get yourself completely better
 
you want to avoid the gym while having the flu for 2 reasons

1. you will spread it to other people and that is fucked up
2. you will only be putting more pressure on your immune system cause the gym is super dirty and your body has enough on its plate to fight off shit

have you heard the term starve your fever? well it is true. when you get the flu the best thing you can do is stick to broths and water. stay away from solid foods so your body can focus its energy on fighting the virus

Just wait until your body tells you its ready. Theres no hurrying up recovery from the flu. It owns your ass til it's gone
