I realize there are already such products out there. But I wasn't sure if research companies were moving in that direction.

i don't see the reasons as being so obvious. they already market prescription drugs and label them as "research chemicals." so what would be the difference?

Those research chemicals arent scheduled like roids..thats how they can get away with it....

Most of the other drugs are cancer drugs and items of the such. They are not scheduled like AAS.

They are riding a fine line anyway - they would jump right over the line and run if they sold "research" AAS
