From the darkest corners, where the sweat-gods train.
Through the mist's of chalk, and the screams of pain.
Where the big Iron bends the bar, and threatens lives.
Where the rumbling noise is made, by the big forty-fives.
Two men stand................The others spent.
They share the Iron........A lifting kin-ship.
The others look their way in vain.
Lost in thought, watching the big men train.
" One more rep! "........" Push it! " They cry!
One more set...............Do or die!
Life long commitment? Desire you say?
It's more than that, to lift everyday.
They all will come, and most will go.
They come seeking the knowledge, they will never know.
For in the back, amoung the chalk-dust clouds.
Stand the mighty men......ready and proud.
There you stand, with your out-held hand.
A spineless creature.......A common man.
They preach it, Live it......Do it everyday!
Eat it, Feel it..........Hear it when they pray!
Well, I don't know....BUT I've been told.
