The concept that you can put on only lean muscle mass is (I believe) a fictional goal promoted by the like of Flex magazine et al.

You essentially are sending your body a mixed message, that a. you're willing to do the work it takes to gain weight, but b. not willing to eat enough to sustain/promote the amount of growth you're working for.

My advice, would be to design a stack that ends with a primo or winstrol. Say do a 8 week cycle, taper off the last 3 weeks while increasing the winstrol.

Throw ECA or (my personal favorite) Metabolic Thyrolean with the winstrol.

On a cutting cycle I buy some Ketostix, and put myself into a ketosis state. You should be able to get these at any serious natural food stores.

But I still eat quite a bit, I guess thats why I've never brought it under 6% before

A list can be found by doing web searches.), and quality fats such as essential fatty acids usually in the form of flax and safflower oil. I eat pretty much the same stuff just adjust my calories up or down when bulking or cutting. Also, it is a good idea to concentrate on bulking and cutting individually. It is hard enough trying to not lose a ton of hard earned muscle while dieting, let alon gain muscle while losing weight.

First of all it is near IMPOSSIBLE to put on a decent amount of muscle while at the same time shrinking fat cells. you need to have specific goals for certain times. when you want to get big, eat that way. when you want to appear leaner, eat that way. I just wrote a HUGE post on the rocks board about my current fat shrinking diet, if you get over there check it out. But you sound like a pretty big boy so cutting your bf% down will give a good illusion of muscle mass anyhow. Invest in a E/C/A stack, load your carbs in the morning, cut em after 6pm (natural metabolic slowdown around this time) Jack your protein levels up..about 1.5gms. per body lb. of weight per day, so as to keep your body from cannabalizing itself for fuel. Shoot your BMR down 500cal. a day, and as always keep your fat intake to a bare minimum excluding flax, and or fish oils. Dairy wont hurt too much either.
