From experience I can tell you that most law enforcement agencies couldn't track your IP back to you if their jobs depended on it. But, they have the ability to outsource this job to someone who can. And all logs from chat rooms, bulletin boards and other electronic communications are allowed as evidence in court.
Just always post on the safe side, if you think this is anonymous you'd better think again.
Never post something that will raise red flags. Its fine to post your stack, but its not legal (or smart) to post a stack for sale. Steroids are a class III drug and are treated as such in most cases.

he's working on a program that scrambles ip address and NIC address ( network interface card address) sounds cool.
but for u guys using ICQ you can dissable your IP address from being shown on your info page. this will help a little i guess.
