I think that what you may be referring to is that DNA transcription and RNA genesis is altered. Nothing alters your genetic code. Your basic sequence of your 4 amino acids will stay with you forever. If your DNA was altered, then what you could do is commit a crime, take growth and they would never be able to trace the crime back to you.
