Does anybody know whether frequent sex or masturbation affects the body's level of testosterone, or possible zinc levels? Should a bodybuilder try to hold back for fear that it may affect his gains?

thats the old boxers wives tails... boxers dont have sex for a month before the fight due to keeping test high and therefor aggression as well... i believe thats been disputed with evidence.

Jerking off won't affect your gains. It does, however, cause blindness and hair growth on your palms.

Do it in the morning and/or at night after lifting. Anyone who's on testosterone and who's able to abstain for the duration of an eight week cycle ought to become a monk 'cause that's just crazy.

Hey if you gotta do it, do it, my wife won't give it to me when I like it, so in 3 or 4 days without it my nuts hurt till choke the anaconda....ha ha! I still do pretty good on the weights...word of advice..don't start argueing with your hand, you might have to seek help..

don't even sweat that shit. I jerk it every fucking blessed day; I still make gains in the gym. I was also reading from Charles Poliquin (for anyone of you guys into the old MM2K-before the change, or Testosterone Magazine, or those of you familiar with strength training at all) that jerking off may actually increase T levels. Something about a deficiency in the HTPA and the body increasing T-levels to compromise. So if you feel the need to rub your rhubarb, fucking go for it!
