: : Bam Bam, I had reached a platau in my training about the same time that article came out. I tried it and it was pretty good. Doing 10 sets of 10 reps on one excercise was quite a bit different than what I was doing previously. I got some great pumps and tremendous muscle fatigue. It really helped when I went back to the heavier weights lower reps. Try it for a couple months and see, also make it a hard 10 reps you should be dying around rep 8/9. Don't sacrifice intensity for higher reps/sets.

: I tried the german volume traing workout that you're talking about a couple of months ago and it was definetly helpful in blasting through some old sticking points.one of the other benefits that GVT has is that for the majority of us who normally do Mentzer or other HIT type workouts the extra repetitions really seemed to help improve not only muscle size but muscle endurance as well, which would make it an excellent workout for anyone who competes in any type of sport where muscular endurance may be a factor,i.e. football, wrestling, kickboxing, etc. Good luck with the program but expect to be a little sore at first

One thing that struck me kinda wierd is that they mentioned supersetting in some of the notes but don't mention which exercises to superset. Is it neccessary to superset.
