Do you need a goddamn drug to cure everything? Accutane is for severe cystic acne that has been developing for years. It's a powerful drug that works very well, but it also makes your acne a hell of a lot worse in the early phases.
Acne caused by anabolic steroids is almost always a temporary problem. Give it a little time, and it should fade on its own. If it doesn't, then "your friend" probably had a preexisting acne problem to begin with.
