It is one of the safest compounds you could use, safer
alcohol. It is legal to posses in almost all of the states,
I think it is illegal in RI and GA. Problems are caused by
meatheads playing chemist. The LD50 of it is incredibly high.
The LD50 of leftover reactants is even higher. It is easy to
correctly just do a search on Deja News or check out
hyperreal's webpage. A final note there has only been one
death attributed to GHB only. The toxicology reports are not
back on this one either, usually it's fatality come with it's
combination with depressants.
