Thyroid pills to help DIETING

I have hundreds of Thyroxine Sodium tabs which are thyroid medication...

I want to calrify the functions of these medications.

Does it increase your bodytemperature so that you are burning more (higher metabolism)
What would a dosage pattern be like and the duration.
