First of all, the Ron Coleman who not only claims to be NATURAL, but actually is NATURAL...is not the Ron Coleman who just won the Olympia.

The natural Ron Coleman is the one who has repeatedly been tested NEGATIVE as an amateur year after year at the IFBB Worlds (by US Team Universe mandates), up to and including the year he won the Universe in 1994. Since then, he has not gotten much bigger and understandably so, because he's clean. You'll find no other IFBB
IFBB competitor to question him on this, because #1) he's no threat to the guys with the most to lose (unless they had mandatory testing)...and most importantly, #2) they know where that argument will lead. Because he can back it up!

He works for TWINLAB, who's walked away from IFBB sponsorship because of steroids, but certainly loves watching their PRO to compete with the big boys. In this, his IFBB Pro rookie year, he's embarrassed many of these giants...(just go ask Greg Kovacs.) Coleman's first IFBB show was the Ironman this year, where he placed 10th! Because of his natural stand, he's capable
of entering EVERY IFBB contest. One good look at Coleman confirms gifted genetics, and he has admitted to a steroid usage of less than a year, way back in 1988. At that time, he went from 205 to 245, and a few months after stopping, he went right back down to under 200. He walked away from the sport, only to give it another shot 2 years later with a new philosophy. He was able to
naturally get back to 205-208, and at that weight, he won the World Championship, five years later! SO, if he was able to hold on to
any substance-aided mass for that long a time...after leaving the sport for entirely for two years, then competing year after year and being coincidently "randomly" tested at World's each year...placing 3rd, then 2nd, then finally 1st...then, Yes, he's guilty of using steroids! But it just doesn't work like that!

Bottom line is this...10 years from now, (God willing), this Ron Coleman will be looking just as good as he does today, maybe even better! The other Ron Coleman, you know "MR O."...will be fortunate, if he finds himself still healthy. And I certainly hope that he does. But if I had to place a bet on that...I wouldn't do it!
He may be the only clean guy in the IFBB...but it is possible to do it! I ask you this...in the past ten years that he's been clean
