: Both you guys could be right! It may cause increased sperm., but this may be from releasing or decreasing the binding proteins. This would then cause the increase in sperm. AND an increase in free test. However, like PA was saying this will NOT cause an increase in test that could be measured via a blood test as they usually don't distingish between the 2. In fact I think that bromocriptine work via that mechanism of releasing bound test and I think it has been used in impotency on a limited basis. (don't quote me on that though) Anarchy in the USA!
: Androstenedione definately causes a rise in test because there is nothing else that can be done with it by the body. Furthermore, it may be an anti-estrogen because if all the 5AA enzyme is used to convert andros to test then there won't be any 5AA left for aromatization! You only have so many enzymes to go around and your body doesn't stock up on them. Anarchy in the USA!
Just wanted to drop a bit of worthy information
for anyone interested in Norandrostenedione.
The LEGAL weightlifting supplement
Norandrostenedione converts into nandrolone once
processed by the liver. There are problems with
athletes who take this supplement because it
causes them to test positive for anabolic steroid
use. The supplement remains legal for the moment.
The most reasonably priced place to obtain it is
at the following site:
They are a privite pharmaceutical company that
sells wholesale to the public. They charge about
15.25 for one bottle of 100mg, 60ct. tablets in
packages of 12 or more. You will spend appx. $40-
$60 a bottle anywhere else. The 800 number is:
1-800-222-1888 -ask for a catalogue (they no longer list prices
or stock of supplements online)
They also have ridiculously cheap prices for androstenedione
(about $6 for 100mg tablets- 60ct).
For any order over $200- there is a $50 discount-
but, you MUST ASK for it. They are not just giving
it away. It is companies like this that most of your
internet suppliers buy, label and resell at %200-%300 percent mark-ups.
It is your money, but I know that I have certainly saved a
bundle in supplements from buying here. They also have
comparable prices for creatine- $15 for 500gm., $10 for 300gm.,
$29 for 1000gm.
Hope this helps!
