: : If a person had (theoretically, of course) some free testosterone, and wanted to methylate it, how might he go about doing this?
: : Methyl test seems to be the common intermediate in making all sorts of fun stuff.
: : thx
: testosterone is not a good starting material for methyltest,
: androstenedione or DHEA are the usual ones. Both require two reaction steps
: to get to methyltest.
: If you are not an experienced synthetic chemist with access to a well
: equipped lab than do not even entertain the thought of attempting these
Funny thing is, I can get the testosterone more easily, and cheaper than DHEA or andro. Oh well, maybe I can esterify it and inject.
No, I'm not a chemist yet, but I'm still in school, and learning how to be one, so I do have limited access to a lab.
But anyways, thanx for the info.
