Playboy is in my opinion artistic because it's creative approach to the female form is artistic.<P>Besides, think of Playboy as a catalyst to something more. So many other opportunities can be had because of Playboy.  We have to use our assets to make us happy, and help us make a living. Some use their brains, some us their athletic ability, some use their personalities, and no reason why some shouldn't use their figures as long as they are content and is with their OWN defined mortal standards. If your ladyfriend is interested in having a career in modeling, specifically fitness type modeling, there is no better calling card than "as seen in Playboy". Be aware that she will have to be selective about the jobs she takes after because people want to pigeon hole actors, models, singers, towards a specific genre.With wise decision making, clear objectives as to where she wants her career to go, and a some common sense, this could be the catapault she's been waiting for. Z||000019||FitnessChick||07-21-2000||08:40 PM||fitnesschick@hushmail.com||well, since this is about me, I should reply....( i explained a little in the bikini contest topic).....I have been offered on several occasions to do some work for pb ..... 2 of my photographers work with them & have presented me the opportunity to do it....last year I declined when a PB agent saw my pic in a calander my photographer did & wanted to use me in a college girls special issue( I was unsure if I wanted to do it & didnt feel like I was pb material due to a total lack of breasts (now solved  <IMG SRC="http://www.elitefitness.com/ubb/smile.gif"> ) ...in the photo underwire & foam made me look deceptively voluptuous).... I am torn...part of me totally wants to do it- good publicity, exposure, opportunity to work with a huge company, plus I think they make women look beautiful, sexy, in such a tasteful manner.....part of me says will I regret it, will I be able to tell my dad- family etc...and if I dont will they find out....what if I have kids one day, they are sure to find out & will they lose respect for me...????? Actually, since I'm married  my husband should get to see somthing the whole world doesn't get to see. I wouldn't want him to pose and show all my girlfriends what I get and he certainly wouldn't like all his buddies seeing what he gets. My body is his and his body belongs to me in a sense.<BR>I do charcoal nudes and see nothing wrong with it. I think the female body is gorgeous in any size and shape but just because your looking so fine doesn't mean you have to prove it to the world. It's a personal choice. Also a question? Say you would pose because "you worked hard for this body" the only thing your not showing off in a bikini is your female thang and breasts. I see no problem with nudity as I feel that the human form is in itself art.  I am very proud of my body.  However, before a shoot I always tell the photographer my boundaries.  And these here it is verbatim, "I would never pose for a photograph that I would not want my children to see."  Immediately what I would or would not do becomes crystal clear.<P>Whatever you decide while PB may be a good opportunity - I don't think anyone's career was made or broken by this one publication. Not to mention the little geek who probably has had a crush on you for years would now get to see everything  well almost everything the hubby gets to see. I think there should be an intimacy factor between the person with whom you love and share your life and I think this could possibly disrupt things. Fitness Chick lets face it you must have a killer body with which I would love to have I'm sure and you know much more than I about the fitness world but at 31 I am well educated in many areas and have seen many scenerios in my time that are similiar to yours just be careful and make it clear exactly what is acceptable and what isn't don't be swayed just for the cash.
