Please give me your advice.||208.37.94.71||reg|| Z||000001||aahthit||06-27-2000||10:05 PM||aahthit@hushmail.com||I'll throw what I know into the fire here:
Flax seed oil is a great way to get some healthy fat into your diet. The occasional egg yolk doesn't hurt either. If you're trying to lose fat, the last thing you want to do is cut all the fat from your diet. By keeping a moderate amount of healthy fat in your diet, your body will be better able to metabolize the stored fat you already have. Try a search on ketogenic diets to get more information on topics like thie one. The recommeded dose I've seen tossed around is a teaspoon of oil twice per day, but I usually up that to three or maybe four, depending on how many carbs I'm eating. Generally speaking, the more carbs I eat the less fat I'll throw in and vice versa. When I'm dieting down, I cut the carbs waaaay down and bump up the fats. It's amazing, and you feel crappy for a few days, but you pick up eventually and it starts to work. Hope this isn't too much rambling. ||158.184.80.86||reg|| Z||000002||JayeLynn||06-27-2000||10:21 PM||greyvulf@hotmail.com||ditto. you really do need to put that flax in your diet. Although, I'll recommend 1 Tablespoon rather than teaspoon and just try adding 2 to your daily intake and see what it does. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

You really can't taste it and the texture gets wonderfully creamy.

Within 4 weeks of adding flax to my intake, I lost 3/4 of an inch on my hips!||129.80.22.140||reg|| Z||000008||Fitnessbarbie||06-28-2000||01:38 PM||fitnessbarbie2000@hotmail.com||Thanks for letting me know Iron God, I thought she was just not going to answer... & JayeLynn..thanks for the encouragement ...how much did you take each day and when?
||208.37.94.71||reg|| Z||000009||FitnessChick||06-28-2000||01:58 PM||fitnesschick@hushmail.com||Hi all.....been superbusy.....summertime is crazy for me with photoshoots.....weathers warm & everyone is working me....

flaxseed oil is excellent for providing your efa's( essential fatty acids)....these arent produced in the body so they must be obtained by outside dietary sources...omega 3 & omega 6....they are essential for bodily functions, and will help, not harm you, so dont be worried....a common misconception is that all fats are the same & all fats are bad....not so.... sorry for the delay...||209.236.135.149||reg|| Z||000010||JayeLynn||06-28-2000||01:58 PM||greyvulf@hotmail.com||Honestly, I fluctuate between ~2T and 4T per day. I always have 1T in my protein drink in the morning with my oats. Then I put one on my tuna with saltines for my second meal. There's one more meal pre-workout and I may or may not include any there: not in the postworkout meal as I have learned that it inhibits the insulin response I'm shooting for. Then at dinner I might put some on a salad if it's on the menu. On the optional meals, I might elect to leave the supplemental fat out if the meal is already high in fat; like today, my preworkout meal is salmon. A couple of days ago, it was a 10oz prime ...80g of fat!
