She was also on clen, nolvadex, and t3 for a few weeks here and there of those 10. Nothing crazy...very moderate dosages. She went up to 10mg of winnie for 10 days and then back to 6mg/day. She looks great..feels great...etc...and will be done with the winnie this week.

The problem/question is she has not had her period for 3 months now. She is on birth control too. I know nolv. will cease menstruation and all be she has been off of that for the last month now. I am sure it will come back but can't help to be a little worried. Any ideas/thoughts???||204.255.124.5||reg|| Z||000001||riptchick||06-14-2000||11:26 AM||||How low is her body fat? Lost my period in college for 3 months for low body fat. During her cycle has she really cut up? I still don't understand the BC pill thing though. I need to find out why you would still take that. I understand that she would not want to get pregnant but there is alternative methods against pregnancy. From a muscle building standpoint estrogen in any form is the enemy. Basically the simulation of hormones during pregnancy tricks your body into thinking it's already pregnant and hence does not allow any eggs to be released. Why bother with that when you are taking nolvadex and other A/S.? A little help here experts. Also if no one knows scientifically the whos, whats, wheres, whens and why's about the BC thing where would I find that info? I appreciate any info anyone could give me. And by the way, it doesn't matter to me who anyone is on this discussion board. I take people at their word. I think that's a good thing. ||205.188.200.191||reg|| Z||000002||BigPappa||06-14-2000||11:36 AM||||Thanks for responding.

I don't know what her bodyfat is. She is pretty damn lean...veiny arms and all. I would say around 11-12%. Yes, birth control is the enemy due to the estrogen but this is our choice because in NO WAY is she getting pregnant and condoms/pulling out, etc... is not a reliable method of birth control. Yes, neither is the pill but every bit helps. Any other prescription birth control available in US yet????||204.255.124.5||reg|| Z||000003||riptchick||06-14-2000||12:20 PM||||I bet she may have a delay because of how tight she is. Maybe look into how long some of that stuff stays in her body... Sorry couldn't be of more help.||152.163.201.182||reg|| Z||000004||Dlady27||06-14-2000||12:30 PM||giggyeyes@yahoo.com||BIGPAPPA YOU MAY WANT TO ORDER THE "MORNING AFTER PILLS"
SHE CAN GET THEM FROM HER FAMILY DOCCTOR OR GYNO, THEY ARE LEGAL IN THE STATES NOW, AND IF BY CHANCE SHE IS PERGNANT THESE WILL CAUSE HER TO MISCARRY WITHIN 3 DAYS OF TAKING THEM. IF SHE ISN'T PREGNANT THEN SHE PROBABLY WILL NOT BLEED.
THESE ARE SOMETHING YOU AND HER MAY WANT TO KEEP ON HAND FOR FUTURE USE TOO, AS A JUST IN CASE!||208.205.113.135||reg|| Z||000005||BigPappa||06-14-2000||12:43 PM||||Morning after? Do you take that every time you have sex? What if you have sex in the morning? That could mean a lot of pill popping, dont you think?||204.255.124.5||reg|| Z||000006||WarLobo||06-14-2000||12:43 PM||warlobo@operamail.com||Don't get to over excited, wife lost hers for a solid three months and then was "spotty" for the next month or so. And yes, she is on the pill. The way I see it, a bit of estrogen is much better than the alternative.

Not sure why we keep having all this "mass hysteria" on the birth control sitch. I've posted a number of times on this and for years this question has been asked online at least every other week. Of all the ladies I've met, both online and at the many shows my wife and I attend, and of the all the friends of our friends friends have I EVER heard of an accidental pregnancy while on gear and taking the pill.

As has been covered several times before, AAS will not directly affect the reliability of the pill, but will screw up a women's cycle. I think it's another one of those 'matters of degree'. If a women's just trying to better herself physically, then the pill is fine, but if she's a serious Bodybuilding competitor who needs to be absolutely shredded then the BC pill is something to find an alternative to.

And don't worry about your girl's period loss BigPappa. It's not only normal, but it may stay that way as long as she is very lean. Every women's different in this respect

This abstract illustrates quite nicely how AAS can screw up a women's cycle but she is still capable of getting pregnant. I believe the reduced fertility seen in some women on AAS really as much related to low %bf (and therefore low estrogen/progesterone levels) as it is to AAS.

This study investigated the effects of exogenous androgens on the menstrual
cycle of eight transsexual females. It was found that the luteal phase decreased
from 13.7 +/- 0.8 to 11.6 +/- 0.8 days, whereas the follicular phase increased in
length from 13.5 +/- 0.6 to 15.3 +/- 0.6 days. With the testosterone levels
attained in venous blood (+/- 4.5 nmol/l) ovulation continued, judged by the rise
of basal body temperature and the increase of oestrogen and progesterone
blood levels. These results relate hyperandrogenism to luteal insufficiency.

But then they don't have time for sex anyways, this I KNOW :p ||199.211.225.194||reg|| Z||000010||FitnessChick||06-14-2000||06:42 PM||fitnesschick@hushmail.com||hey....I have the same prob...cessation of my period...I am going to the doc because I read somewhere that its not healthy to have it stop for 3 mon's or longer....reason being is that something internal thickens when this happens( i cant remember what) & that increases your chance of sterility & cancer risks later on in life...My advice is if its been 3 months or longer, go get it induced. When I see the doc & get all the info I will post it.||209.236.133.207||reg|| Z||000011||MS||06-14-2000||07:01 PM||mad.scientist55@hushmail.com||Oh how wise and experienced you are WarLobo. A timely reminder when I'm about to start dieting.......||139.80.178.6||reg|| Z||000012||LadyJaye||06-14-2000||07:27 PM||suzannec1978@aol.com||BigPappa- about the morning after pill, you don't take it after every time you have sex - just if something happens like the condom breaks or she forgets to take her BC pills and you get nervous. You can take them up to 72hrs. after the 'accident' I beleive but double check to be sure. But keep in mind that this can make her very sick, everyone reacts differently but there is a chance she can be vomiting and laid up in bed for a day or more...so don't use it lightly.

Anyway, about the missing period thing - I get that too when I train too hard or my weight drops significantly, but if it's been a while (more than 3 months) then she should go to the doc. Hope this helps ||152.163.207.57||reg||
