I usually have it right before i workout wich i know is a stupid idea. i know i should have it after but if i do then it would be hard for my body to digest a protien shake with glutamine and a carb drink at the same time. i know there is 1-2 hour window to have protien after u workout. i got best results having my protien shake with glutamine right after i workout. but if i had them all at the same time after i workout out i would end up pissing most of it out - right?

Carbs with Protein is not only a good thing, IMO, it's essential. Carbs help facilitate absorption of protein into the muscles by raising insulin levels. Most Protein supps, particularly, MRP's, have good carb content already, typically maltodextrin which is a very high G.I. carb that produces an insulin spike to help with absorption.||209.254.234.51||reg|| Z||000002||BigAndy69||02-27-2001||10:10 PM||big_andy95@hotmail.com||Right after you finish your last rep, you should not really be concerned with protein, you only need about 25g. You should be focused on getting enough simple carbs maybe 70-80g. You shouldn't have any problem digesting that. 45 min later you should have double the protein you have in a regular meal. Example: if you eat 6 times a day and you consume 35g of protein then you'll need to eat 70g, and lots of complex and some simple carbs. ||206.172.178.57||reg||
