I am now starting to get serious about it. I am a pretty small guy and want to build mass and definition. I weight about 145 and am 5'10". Can anyone suggest good supplements that will help me build good solid mass. I am not looking for supper fast results just good solid gains. I am taking whey protein and creatine. Any suggestions on what to take and also does anyone have a good link to sites that will put me on the right routine?
Thank You
JeffPoos

P.S. can you also suggest the best times to take the supplements. . .IE post workout, before bed, etc.||24.217.63.195||reg|| Z||000001||Blackop||02-25-2001||02:01 PM||blackop@elitefitness.com||Whey protein is your most important supp right now. Try to take it post workout 40-60grams and inbetween the longest whole food meal gaps throughout your day. Try to keep your protein intake at at least 200grams for your current body weight. If you can afford it, you could even up your protein dosage. Creatine is good, keep it simple with just german grade powdered, prolab is good. As far as your training goes... You're gonna have to feel it out based on how your body will be reacting with a new training setup. I suggest that you go to the featured sites link and cruise around the site their soaking up info. Some of them have alot of good info.

Try a 12 week time definite plan like Max-OT or Body for Life, and follow the program closely and to the end (discipline & execution are essentials). Both programs have dietary guidelines that are very useful, and will offer supplement advice. It is my belief that having a 12 week plan is critical for someone like yourself you has yet to completely commit to a bodybuilding lifestyle or a maintaining training regimen. I currently use Max-OT and have had excellent results and have learned a great deal from it. Here are the links to these programs:

Through eating you will be able to gain more weight, not through supplements. Supplements can be incorporated into your training regime when you reach a certain level. So for now just try to focus on eating 5-6 smaller meals combined with plenty of water throughout the day rather than focusing on the supplements.||210.129.184.12||reg|| Z||000004||jeffpoos||02-25-2001||11:46 PM||jpusczek@charter.net||Thank you for the Max-OT link.
