A||||5||gtaman||Here we go again with the t-mag BS|||||| Z||000000||gtaman||01-26-2001||07:40 PM||gtb@email.com||Can you believe the way they lay it on?

"...But this time things were different. I don't know if it was just good timing, or simply the fact that we'd exhausted every other possibility other than the formula that actually worked. All I know is we produced something that very well could be the answer to everyone's muscle-building dreams. What I'm saying is, we have, in fact, now discovered a way to achieve sustained muscle growth, and I'm not kidding.

"Do I mean that we can grow muscle as if we turned off the myostatin gene? No, but we can get you a bunch closer to your genetic potential without all of those no-growth phases in the way to impede progress.

"Time will tell just how effective this formula is, but I believe it's a major breakthrough in muscle-building science. Plus, all the work is based on a wealth of scientific information.

"I also want to let you know up front that Biotest has every intention of eventually turning this breakthrough into a supplement —that is, if we can figure out how to bring down the overall cost of the raw materials.

"In fact, this project is our number-one priority. We truly believe that the potential good that would be derived from its universal use would be unparalleled. What's also very cool about this stuff is, no matter what you're currently taking or where you are in the genetic pool — hard-gainer, easy-gainer, or anywhere in-between —it'll still dramatically improve the rate at which you build muscle.

"And even though our design has more potential for success than a horny, pheromone-emitting, naughty, all-American cheerleader, in a tight-leather bustier and matching zipper-crotched-cheek-showing shorts has at being hired at T-mag… I'm going to do the unthinkable. I'm going to give you the secret formula right here and now, today, in this article."

AND:

"Immediately after a grueling leg workout, I downed 16 ounces of Biotest prototype formula ATX-75. The first thing that hit me was the taste. It was great, which was surprising because the raw materials contained therein are normally horribly bitter. I even wanted more."

Oh, man. You mean there are people out there who believe this stuff? Worse, there are people out there who, on finding a drinkable OTC product that will put them in a "PERMANENT STATE OF MUSCLE GROWTH," would whine about the taste? "Oh, it's bitter, waaahhh"

Yeegads, who do they think they're dealing with?

By the way, if you email them to give them hell about this, they'll act all hurt, like they're only trying to make the world a better place...||206.47.244.62||reg|| Z||000001||big calvin||01-26-2001||08:24 PM||tru10265@aol.com||i never really like test.net , and that part in there mag about shawn phillips was just a show on how low they have to go. very disrespectful not only to shawn but to them selfs.||152.163.194.187||reg|| Z||000002||johnny iron||01-26-2001||10:49 PM||john_sarge@hotmail.com||This formula is old news. Alex from the protein factory told us about hydrolized whey and its benefits long ago. Tim Patterson just found another way to hype it up. ||63.59.218.91||reg|| Z||000003||artie_woo||01-27-2001||09:28 AM||artie_woo@musclemail.com||Not to mention that the Endurox
( http://www.enduroxr4.com ) formula is almost exactly the same and it's patented. And don't tell me that a simple whey concentrate or isolate won't fit within the 1-2 hour post-workout window.

All they gotta do is come up with insane percentage numbers like Muscle Tech showing how much better their formula is, and increase this number by 100-200% with each magazine issue they come out with!||212.108.200.70||reg|| Z||000004||Hot Bod||01-27-2001||06:17 PM||fred.abate@anheuser-busch.com||These bodybuilding magazines are counting on the fact that there will always be newbies to bb, and fitness enthusiasts that will be looking for the latest and greatest shortcut to building huge bodies.

They play professional body builders huge sums of monies to endorse their products and anyone without experience in dealing with these mags will believe they've done their homework before they walk into GNC!

That's why so many newcomers to this board continue to ask the same question over and over again. Which is fine for me. I would rather have them ask here and get the truth before they make expensive purchases.

There are so very few, but there are some, companies that have some validity to their products actually doing what they're supposed to. I guess we shouldn't blame them for trying to make a buck, and we've all fallen prey to some seemingly believale marketing ploy at some time or another. I know I did when I was a newbie.

I'm grateful to this board for being such a wealth of information about supplements and training in general. Newbies keep asking questions, but keep in mind you can do a search on this board for previously asked question that have been answered over and over again. Just punch in product and press search, but do it here first not on the web. If you go to the web you'll get advertising bs, just like the mags.||205.188.196.59||reg|| Z||000005||big calvin||01-27-2001||08:35 PM||tru10265@aol.com||hot bod, that last statement yoiu said so so dame true it isnt funny! if i didnt know about this and other boards i would be useing all the muscle-tech,bio-crap till this day(cause i was untill i found out what the real deal is). bro i was spending more on supps then food!!!!
