I am a 16/m and am looking to keep my weight off and gain a lot of lean muscle.  Ive never taken any supplements (i take bee pollen if you consider that a supplement) and would like to start.  In the proshop at my gym they have the myoplex shake mixes.(Including myoplex hp, chocolate lovers, etc)  They also have promax and the promax shake mix has about 50 grams of protein and less than one gram of fat per serving.  I was wondering if I should get that instead of the myoplex.  Promax is cheaper and it is designed for my goals exactly.  Also i was wondering why they reccomend that you drink 2 to 3 shakes a day when you can get almost all of your day's protein in one shake.  Like i said i am new to supplements and anyone's help would be appreciated.||63.64.11.44||reg||

Also you need a lot more then 50 grams of protein a day if you are training hard you should get about 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.||63.14.218.36||reg||
