They compared several batches of each product to see if the ephedrine amounts from batch to batch.<P>Bottom line, Xenadrine was found to have very close to the amount of ephedrine claimed on the bottle and was very consistent from batch to batch.  <P>Ripped Fuel, which is what I've always used, did poorly...big differences in ephedrine content from batch to batch.  ||129.6.179.233||reg||

It's not part of the synergistic thermogenic effect caused by the ephedrine and caffeine combo; it's purpose is to thin the blood to expediate delivery of the other two substances. The idea of using aspirin came from the fact that the body can reduce norepi release from the nerve terminals through the prostaglandin E series.  So researchers figured that reducing prostaglandin synthesis would increase it's effects.  The studies did not show any synergism and no significant difference in weight loss (except in obese women).  Also, note that aspirin does not change the viscosity (thickness/thinness)of blood, it just prevents the clotting mechanism.<P>Xenadrine is a "everything but the kitchen sink" product.  Synephrine is an alpha agonist and is useless as a thermogen, since its thermogenic properties are not from increased energy expenditure, but from capillary constriction.  The capillary constriction causes heat to be trapped in the body.  Just buy ephedrine tabs and caffeine tabs, it is much cheaper.||205.188.198.58||reg||
